Sandalus

Across an ancient desert, remnants of a forest lie preserved in stone. Trees that once rose from the earth have been transformed slowly by minerals, their grain and growth lines remaining visible long after the wood itself disappeared. Deep bands of brown and charcoal move through the fossilized forms, while softer taupe and weathered bronze tones reveal the memory of bark, fiber, and age.

Sandalus carries that same sense of preservation. Its broad dark ribbons recall the sweeping grain of ancient timber, while finer lines spread through the surface like growth rings compressed and reshaped by geological time. Areas of smoky brown and muted earth tone emerge between deeper charcoal formations, creating a pattern that feels simultaneously organic and mineral.
